  • Journal Rebranding: (A New journal journey!)
We are excited to announce a significant evolution of our journal! To better reflect our focused scope and commitment to the field, Starting Fall 2025, we are relaunching as:
Advances in Skin, Wound and Tissue Repair (former “Lasers in Medicine”)
Our new mission is to become a leading forum for cutting-edge research on tissue repair, with a dedicated focus on skin regeneration and chronic wound management.
  • Adv Skin Wound Tissue Repair (former “Lasers in Medicine”) is a peer-reviewed, open-access quarterly journal published by the "Yara" Institute. The journal builds upon a legacy of scientific contribution that began in 2013, when it was first established as "Laser in Medicine" under the license from the Ministry of Culture and Islamic Guidance of Iran.
To reflect a significant expansion in its academic scope and ambitions, the journal has been re-envisioned with a new name and a broader focus. It is now dedicated to disseminating high-quality original research and comprehensive review articles exclusively in English, addressing the latest advancements and innovative therapeutic strategies in the field. The journal provides a vital international platform for researchers and clinicians working on chronic wound care, skin injuries, and various forms of tissue damage, fostering the exchange of cutting-edge knowledge to improve clinical outcomes globally.
