The World Health Organization (WHO) has warned that the number of cancer cases could rise from 21 million in 2024 to 35 million by 2050, a 67% increase. This alarming projection is attributed to factors including population aging, alcohol consumption, obesity, and improved screening methods. Lower-income countries are expected to bear the greatest burden due to limited access to healthcare services.
