Waivers and Financial Assistance
We are committed to supporting the scientific community. Corresponding authors facing genuine financial hardship (including Iranian authors) may request a full or partial waiver of the APC. Each request is considered on a case-by-case basis.
To ensure your research is widely accessible and to cover the costs associated with the editorial process, peer-review management, production, and long-term archiving, the journal charges an Article Processing Charge (APC). From March 20, 2026, Advances in Skin, Wound and Tissue Repair (formerly "Lasers in Medicine") levies an APC as follows:
International Authors: USD 100 (one hundred US dollars).
Iranian Authors: 10,000,000 IRR (ten million Iranian Rials).
The APC is only due upon formal acceptance of the manuscript for publication. No other fees (submission, color, or page charges) apply.
