Abstract:   (2844 Views)
On the basis of This research: the effect of 810 nm diode laser on Streptococcus salivarius among five sample groups is more than Photodynamic therapy (laser+ Indocyanine green), Indocyanine green and chlorhexidine. After 810 nm diode laser, inhibition zone diameter average in the most effective order was: chlorhexidine, Photodynamic therapy (laser+ Indocyanine green) and Indocyanine green .Although the statistical test did not show a difference between three groups in antimicrobial effects, significantly.
Conclusion: Under the conditions of this study, Laser; Laser + Indocyanine ; Indocyanine were able to reduce microbial colonization. Among them, 810 nm diode laser (Infrared type )had an increased antimicrobial effect on Streptococcus salivaris.
