َAims and scopes

Laser in Medicine is a scientific research journal affiliated with the Medical Laser Research Center of the Tehran Medical Sciences branch of ACECR, which is published quarterly in Farsi and includes original research articles, review articles, case reports and letters to the editor in the field of laser or Light is in every field of medicine, be it basic sciences, bio-medicine or clinical sciences of medicine .
This quarterly journal publishes articles on physics, optics and photonics engineering with interdisciplinary application in specialized fields, new laser technologies, light delivery systems, sensors for monitoring laser effects, fundamental laser-tissue interactions, and modeling of laser-tissue interactions. Beyond laser applications, Lasers in Medicine evaluates and publishes articles related to the use of non-laser light-tissue interactions.
Since the ultimate goal of using medical lasers is to improve and promote the health of patients, this publication includes the results of research related to this field in order to encourage the exchange of information between researchers and health care providers, its scope of activity includes clinical trials, techniques and tools. New treatment includes medical laser physics, photobiology and photochemistry and other aspects of biomedicine.
